"Sego Iconic" was born Ashani Pearson the Summer before 9/11 and at the dawn of the "Information Age". She has influences of 90's Babies and early 2000's, but proudly reps Generation Z.

As a child, Ashani grew a passion for Elmo, dinosaurs, ballet dance, fashion and fantasy style entertainment (Surrealism).

 

She began drawing at the age of 4 and became an expert at sketching her own characters with gothic style themes.

 

Ashani spent much of her Adolescent years suppressing emotions and feeling out of place at school and sometimes at home. She knew she was different from many of her peers and would pour much of her emotion into sketching gothic-style characters, singing, and playing acoustic guitar.
